WELCOME TO FRESNO, CA

An emerging metropolitan center with a rich, cultural mix of more than 90 different nationalities, Fresno offers every amenity a large city could provide, but does so within the confines of a small, comfortable community.

It’s hard to know what to focus on in this northern California city – culture, beauty, business – there’s so much of each. Fine regional and ethnic restaurants await after a night at the symphony or theater, nicely complementing the Metropolitan Museum, Art Museum and other cultural organizations dedicated to preserving the area's rich history.

Fresno is the only US city surrounded by three national parks, providing easy access to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon. The area’s beauty is showcased annually at the Blossom Trail, a 67 mile self-guided tour featuring the natural allure of California's agricultural heartland. A panorama of blossoms such as peaches, nectarines, oranges, plums and almonds can be found along the trail.

But it’s the area’s business environment that draws many more people today than just a few years ago. Fresno boasts 7,500 farmers harvesting 250 crops on 1 million irrigated acres. It is said to be the number one agricultural county in the world, growing cotton, tomatoes, lettuce, grapes, citrus, and much more with an annual gross revenue from crop production in excess of $3 billion.
